It's a good thing that you decided to mostly stick to vanilla DS2, Scholar is just such a downgrade on nearly every aspect, with only some few item placements and areas being enhanced.

Say one thing for Dark Souls II, it still doesn't have a boss as bad as Bed of Chaos. Even Prowling Magus and Congregation gives a small modicum of entertainment.

I'm always gonna have a soft spot for Dark Souls II. I got it because it was one of my friends favourite games and it was my introduction to the Souls Series.

Just so you know, Lock on on this game is malicious, terrible and makes the game even harder, you get turn arounded animation pretty much 100% of the time, you cant kite enemies without needing to roll, you whiff alot, Gank fights are more difficult.
